Centrifugal casting of a bronze bushing on a spinning mold
Services/Centrifugal Casting

Centrifugal Casting

Dense, defect-free cylindrical parts.

Spinning the mold forces molten metal outward, producing bushings, bearings, sleeves, and rings with exceptional density and minimal porosity. Ideal for wear surfaces that have to last.

In centrifugal casting, the mold spins while molten metal is poured, using centrifugal force to drive the metal against the mold wall. Impurities and gas migrate inward and are machined away, leaving a dense, fine-grained structure at the working surface. The result is a casting that stands up to load and wear far better than a statically poured equivalent.

Why It Matters

  • Superior density & grain structure
  • Bushings, sleeves, bearings & rings
  • Reduced machining stock & waste
